Step 3
Parts required:
- 1x v1 ring
- 1x AF3s unit
- 2x 8mm M4 low head profile bolts
- 1x 3D printed 2mm spacer plate
Open the AF3s unit by undoing the 2 M3 bolts.
Take the circuit shell off and carefully unplug the motor from its port.
Take the motor out of the motor shell.
Insert M4 bolts into the enclosure.
Hold the bolts in with your fingers from inside the enclosure, so they do not fall out.
At bottom of the encousure, slide 2mm spacer plate onto the M4 bolts.
Keep on holding the bolts on the inside of the enclosure. Place the enclosure onto the ring with bolts aligned to the holes. Pay attention to the direction of enclosure in relation to the dovetail orientation.
Tighten M4 bolts by inserting the wrench into the holes above the bolts.
Insert the motor back into the enclosure. Secure the motor with 4x 6mm M3 bolts.
Carefully connect the motor to the circuit port. Pay attention to the orientation of the connector.
Close up the motor and secure the circuit shell with M3 bolts.
